BCHL main camps getting underway

Main training camps for all 17 BCHL clubs opened today, with exhibition games starting Wednesday.

Returning players and hopefuls have reported to their respective communities and will begin competition for the last few spots available on the rosters.

All on-ice training camp activities are open to the public and fans are encouraged to check their favourite team’s website and social media for schedules.

The 2017-18 season marks the 56th campaign in league history.

The full exhibition schedule is online on the BCHL’s schedule page.

So far, nine exhibition games are scheduled to be broadcast on HockeyTV pay-per-view though more may be added.

Fans who do not yet have pay-per-view access are invited to create an account at www.bchl.hockeytv.com in order to view the following games online:

The BCHL’s regular season starts on Friday, September 8.

The league will host the Bauer BCHL Showcase in Chilliwack again this year,  Sept. 20 to 24 at Prospera Centre in Chilliwack.
