One of the biggest news agencies in BC, Global TV News, is reporting on the recent dismissal of Surrey Minor Hockey Association Bantam A1 Coach Darryl Erikson and his assistants, and the attempts of fourteen A1 parents to have him re-instated.

The Global story reports that a Surrey MHA executive may have tried to manipulate tryout evaluation scores to own their own benefit and fired the coach in order to change tryout selections.

At moment, SMHA hockey skills director Denis Seminov has been installed as interim head coach.

Interesting comments on the tryout season from BWC General Manager Len McNeely; as well as from Hollyburn A1 coach Mike Allen.
