
The BC Bantam Tier 1 Playoffs are being hosted by Prince George this year.
Each of the six teams will play a five game round robin with the two top teams playing off in a Championship game Thursday night.
The winner will advance to the Western Canada Bantam Championships to face the Provincial winners from Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba, along with host club Kelowna Rockets.
The top seeds from the Lower Mainland Winter Clubs have both jumped into the lead with 3-0 records, accounting for all four wins Tuesday.
On day one BWC Bruins downed PG Cougars in a close 2-1 affair, despite outshooting the Cougars 36-24, then beat Kelowna 10-0 and Cowichan Valley 5-1 in day two.
North Shore Winterhawks downed Kelowna Rockets 6-1 in day one, then downed Kamloops 5-1 and PG 5-0 Tuesday.
On day one, Kamloops defeated Cowichan Valley 6-0 in the early afternoon, but the Capitals bounced back in the evening with a 5-0 win over Prince George.
