Victoria Grizzlies defencemen Carter Berger continues to light it up in the BCHL.

He was awarded Player of Week again this week, after posting 7G-1A in four games, and being named first star three times.

All four games were played at home. He scored once in the December 29  game vs Nanaimo, his first game since December 2; and then scored a pair of goals in the next three games, vs Alberni Valley, Langley and Prince George.

Berger is now posting 22G-21A, 43 points in 35 games, along with 34 PIMs.

In October the North Vancouver native committed to University of Conneticut Huskies for the 2019-2020 season.

Berger played minor hockey at the North Shore Winter Club in North Vancouver before joining the Grizzlies as a second year midget player.
