Here are the standings after this weekend’s BCHL games, along with current points leaders. The majority of teams have now played between 12 and 14 games, which means they’re at the quarter way point of the 58 game regular season schedule already.

It’s still super tight on the Island, with four of the five teams within two points of each other in a race for the top of the division; and all four are in the top 8 of the league over all. The Victoria Grizzlies currently hold a one point lead on the Powell River Kings, at the top.

In the Mainland division, Wentachee stay on top with an unbeaten record – just one OTL in 11 games, while the Chilliwack Chiefs, at 9-3-1-0 are in second place, just two points behind, but with two extra games under their belt. The remainder of the division is way back with three teams posting nearly identical records with just four wins in 13 or 14 games.

In the Interior division, the perennially strong Penticton Vees have taken an early lead with an undefeated 11-2-0-0 record. The Merritt Centennials are sitting in second place with 7-4-2-1 record. The remaining four teams are all within a game or two of each other. West Kelowna are holding down last spot, apparently suffering post-RBC Championship blues, but only two wins back of the Cents.
