The Penticton Vees continued their domination in game two of the Western Canada Cup, posting a 6-0 shutout win over the host Fort McMurray Oil Barons on Sunday.

The win came on the heels of a 11-3 shellacking of the AJHL Champions St. Albert Saints on Saturday.

A couple of first year players lead the way Sunday with 1998s Tyson Jost getting two in the first, and Dante Fabbro adding one to give the Vees a 3-0 lead after 20 minutes.

Mitch Newsome added one in the second and Connor Chartier added two in the third to close out the scoring.

The Vees outshot the Oil Barons 46-23, and enjoyed a 4-1 advantage on power plays, scoring on the third opportunity (goal 3).

The team will rest Monday and then face the Portage Terriers in game three, Tuesday. The Terriers lost their opener 3-1 to the Oil Barons, and won game two 6-3 vs the Melford Mustangs.
