BCHL update – Vipes jump into lead – Standings, Leaders

As the second half of the BCHL regular season gets underway, the Vernon Vipers stand alone at the top of the standings with 59 points in 41 games, and a six point lead on second place Wenatchee Wild.

Both teams play in the Interior Division.

Two other teams in the division are also posting more points than the Island and Mainland divisional leaders.

The Penticton Vees and Trail Smoke Eaters are just a point back of the Wild, with the Vees holding three games in hand.

At the top of the other two divisions are two teams tied with 49 points.

On the Island, the Nanaimo Clippers hold a two point lead on the Powell River Kings and Victoria Grizzlies, who both hold games in hand on the Clips.

In the Mainland division, the Prince George Spruce Kings are one point up on the Langley Rivermen, with a game in hand on the Riv.
