2015-2016 Major Midget League Schedule

Two Showcase Weekends at the Richmond Oval, (September 26-27, 2015 and January 23-24, 2016) are highlights of the schedule and offer fans an opportunity to see some of the top future junior hockey prospects together on one weekend.

The 220 game regular season concludes on February 28. The playoffs kick off March 4, with the championship series starting on March 18.

The winner will face the Alberta Midget League champions at the Pacific Regional Championship held April 1-3, 2016 in Alberta in a best-of-three series.

The Pacific champions will move on to the TELUS Cup, the National Midget Championship, which will be held in New Brunswick, April 23-30.

The BCMML was established in 2004 to provide elite level 15, 16 and 17 year olds an opportunity to play within their own age group at a high level, as an alternative to junior hockey, and playing against 18, 19 and 20 year olds.

Notable MML alumni now playing in the NHL include Ryan Nugent-Hopkins (Vancouver North West Giants), Griffin and Sam Reinhart (Vancouver North West Giants) and Brendan Gallagher (Greater Vancouver Canadians).
