Training Camp Notes – Day 4

The Kamloops Blazers are down to two teams and 42 players on the roster.  The hockey club starts preparing today for the Blue vs. White intra-squad game on Tuesday night at 7:00 pm at the Interior Savings Centre. Admission to the game is $5.

Team White will practice this evening from 4:00pm – 5:30pm with Team Blue on the ice from 5:45pm – 7:15pm.

Both teams will have pre-game skates tomorrow morning from 8:45am – 10:00am for Team White and 10:15am – 11:30am for Team Blue.

Following the Blue versus White game on Tuesday night, the hockey club is expected to reduce their roster further. The Blazers will play their first WHL preseason game at home this Friday, August 29th when they host the Vancouver Giants. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors or $5 for youth/children.

The breakdown of players remaining by region includes 16 from B.C., 11 from Alberta, eight from Saskatchewan, three from Manitoba, one from Switzerland, one from Slovakia, and two from the U.S.A. (California, Arizona).
