BWC Academy Prep chasing Shawnigan

BWC’s U18 Academy Prep remain two points back of Shawnigan with two games in hand, after two dominating wins against Pacific Coast Hockey Academy this weekend.

Shawnigan were 2-1 on the weekend playing three tight games against OHA teams.

On Saturday BWC stormed out to a 9-0 win. It was a real team effort as Ben Poisson, Ethan de Jong and Brady Lynn each had two goals in the win while Evan Walls, Devan Purhar and CJ Corazzin scored singles. Nico Lopes faced 10 shots for the shutout victory.

On Sunday, it was more of the same with 9 goals from Burnaby, although this time Pacific Coast was able to add two of their own. Brady Lynn led the way for BWC recording a hat-trick. Ben Poisson and Angus Crookshank each had two goal games. On the Pacific Coast side, Braydon Nelson had both goals in the loss.
