The BWC A3s finished sixth in Flight 2 of the GVC Atom division, with 26 points, and a record of 5-13-2, with 14 sportsmanships.
Only two other A3 teams competed in the division, the Vancouver T-Birds, who finished 4th, a surprising five points ahead of T-Bird A2s; and NSWC A3s who finished last (1-17-2).
The sixth place finish pits the Bruins against third place North Vancouver A1 Storm, who posted a strong 14-3-3 regular season record.
In game one Friday, Feb 21, the Storm A1s edged the Bruins, 5-3.
It was the A3 Bruins best showing against the Storm this year. Previous matches ended 6-0 and 8-3.
Game two is set for Sunday, Feb 23.
