Outside of league action, the Bruins were in a tournament hosted by the Vancouver Thunderbirds, where they went undefeated in four games. BWC Atom A2, 5W-7L-0T – Flight 1
After starting the season with a heady 5-0-0 record, BWC A2 have lost their last seven games to fall to 5-7-0. Since the last update, the A2 Bruins dropped two close games to 4th place Seafair A1, 4-3 and 5-3, and another to 2nd place Richmond A1 by a score of 7-4. Although BWC is losing games right now, they’re keeping the games close with three of their losses decided by one or two goals. That’s no small feat for an A2 team playing in Flight 1 with only one other A2 squad, the NSWC A2s, who are struggling a 1-10-1 and could be moved down a Flight after the break.
The A2 Bruins now sit in 5th place in GVC Flight 1, one point ahead of 6th place Vancouver Thunderbird A1, five points behind 4th place Seafair A1 and 15 points behind first place BWC A1.
See above for Flight 1 standings.
BWC Atom A3, 6W-5L-1T – Flight 2

Their two wins came in a 7-4 victory over 9th place Arbutus Club A1 and in a 7-3 victory over 7th place Vancouver Thunderbirds A3. Their lone loss came against 3rd place Burnaby A1 who beat them 6-2.
The A3 Bruins now sit in 6th place in GVC Flight 2, three points ahead of 7th place Vancouver Thunderbirds A3, three points behind 5th place North Vancouver A1 and 13 points behind first place Vancouver Thunderbird A2.
