The wins just keep on coming for the BWC E15’s as they extended their winning streak to 12 games after going 4-0 at the DHA showcase in Delta over the weekend.
The hosts tested BWC in the first game but in the end Angus Crookshank’s second goal of the game lifted the visitors to a 5-4 win on Friday. Goaltender Zakery Myrowich made 37 saves to hold off a feisty DHA team and Ethan de Jong, Logan Bromhead and Ben Poisson joined Crookshank on the scoresheet.
BWC breezed to a 10-1 win over Edge on Saturday in game No. 2. De Jong had two goals and four assists while Crookshank also scored two and added an assist. What followed was a tightly-contested affair against OHA that ended 4-4 after regulation after de Jong scored with 31 seconds left to force overtime. BWC pulled out a 5-4 victory as Liam Evenson had the winning goal on the power play in OT to keep the winning streak alive.
BWC closed out the showcase with a 9-0 blowout of PCHA on Sunday. Bromhead had a hat-trick and a helper and Poisson scored once to go with three assists.
The E15’s travel to Penticton next weekend for two games. They will face OHA on Saturday, November 15 and POE on Sunday, November 16.
