Head Coach: Bill Hunt

Traditionally at or near the top of Tier 1 teams in BC, this year’s team is again looking very strong.

The team dominated the Tier 1 division at the annual Seafair Icebreaker last weekend, downing Cloverdale 7-0 in the final, while posting a 4-0-0, 29 GF- 3 GA record, including a 4-2 win over Seafair on Monday, October 12.

Seafair bounced back with a 2-0 win the next day in placement, to hand the Bruins their only loss so far this season.

Last year the team finished first in PCAHA regular season play with a 19W-1L-0T record, 3 points ahead of 2nd place Seafair and 11 points ahead of third place NSWC; and went on to win the BC Provincial banner.

BWC Peewee A2, 2W-5L-2T

Head Coach: John Macdonald

The BWC Peewee A2s have played in the top Tier of regular season competition for many years, along with the A1s, and are usually the only A2 team in the division. Last year the team finished in fourth place in the 13 team group with a .500 record, and went on to the Provincial championships, losing a heartbreaker in the final to Cranbrook, for the silver.

In exhibition and placement, the team has posted two wins, five losses, 2 ties.

The team’s most recent game was a 2-2 tie vs North Shore Winter Club A1s.

Head Coach: Ernie Bone

Last year’s BWC Peewee A3s finished the regular season with the best record in PCAHA flight 4 posting a 17-2-1 record, but in second place to South Delta Peewee A2s due to three fewer sporties.

The team then went on to win the A3 provincials, posting a perfect 5-0 record at the championship series in Kitimat, downing Tri-Port 10-2 in the final.

This year the team has posted three wins and seven losses so far in the early going, playing mostly against A2 teams. Their only lopsided loss came against Seattle A1s.
