BWC U-18’s split two-game weekend set with PCHA in Victoria

BWC’s U-18’s came out of a weekend trip to Victoria for two games against PCHA with a win and a loss to move to 6-5-0 on the season. BWC dropped the first game 4-2 on Friday but rebounded on Saturday with a 7-1 win.

Keyvan Mokhtari and  Jackson Jong Min Lee scored the goals in the 4-2 loss while Cyrus Valk, Brady Chin, and Aidan Bar-Lev-Wise picked up assists. Jack Stradiotti allowed three goals on 28 shots as PCHA iced the game with a late empty-netter.

Mokhtari scored twice and had an assist and Jong Min Lee put in one goal and assisted both of Mokhtari’s goals in the 7-1 win. Max Daerendinger, Devan Purhar, and Connor Alderson each had two helpers. Valk, Jonny Sheardown, Daniel Kim, Jacob Lacasse rounded out the goalscorers and Chin, Bar-Lev-Wise, Tristyn Olson, and Liam Lytton contributed one assist. Nico Lopes stopped 16 of the 17 shots he faced.

Next up for the U-18’s is a four-game showcase weekend in Calgary between November 7-9.
