The Prince George Cougars announced today that the Western Hockey League club has signed Delta Hockey Academy forward Keegan Craik to a Standard WHL Player Agreement.
Craik, 15, recorded 22 points (16-6-22) and 50 penalty minutes in 25 games with the Delta Bantam Prep team during the 2015-16 CSSHL season.
“Keegan Craik is going to be a very good hockey player for the Prince George Cougars one day,” stated Cougars general manager Todd Harkins.
“He’s a big bodied forward who skates well and he’s committed to getting to the dirty areas of the ice to create scoring chances. He plays a solid two-way game that we covet in all of our forwards.”
The Brentwood Bay, BC product also registered two points (1-1-2) and 12 penalty minutes in three post-season contests.
Craik was selected by the Cougars in the fifth round, 98th overall, at the 2016 WHL Bantam Draft.
