Burnaby Winter Club’s Bantam Varsity team played just one game last week, a 6-4 loss to Yale (2-2) on Sunday, and now have three league games under their belt.
In the game vs Yale, it was a back and forth game with only one team scoring in each period.
Yale took a 2-0 lead after the first, but BWC responded with all of the second period goals.
Yale then responded with four of their own in the third to win the game.
Goal scorers for BWC were Luca Primerano, Jagjeevan Phangura, Luke Ashton, and Ryden Evers. Primerano and Phangura also each had an assist in the game, while Tyler Chan had two assists.
The teams are now 1-1 against each other this season, since BWC beat Yale 5-1 in their season opener.
The third match between these teams will be played on December 8.
BWC is right in the middle of the division so far, but have played fewer games than every team above them except Okanagon (3-0-0).
