CSSHL – BWC Elite 15 Playoff Preview

BWC’s Elite 15’s had a spectacular regular season, sitting in first place for most of the year and finishing with a 27-3-6 record to take home the league banner.

The stakes get raised now as playoffs begin March 13 in Penticton, where the division’s top eight teams are split into two different groups for round robin play.

As the #1 seed, BWC is grouped with #4 Rink (25-8-3), #5 Prairie (23-12-0), and #8 OHA Edmonton (17-17-2) in Group A.

BWC is a combined 4-1-2 against those three teams in the regular season, with their only regulation loss coming against Rink.

Group B includes #2 Delta (26-6-4), #3 Northern Alberta (26-7-3), #6 St. George’s (21-11-3), and #7 Edge (18-13-5).

Each team will play a round robin in their division, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the elimination games.

The winner of Group A will take on the runner-up in Group B (and vice versa) in the semi-finals on Saturday, March 16.

The winners of those two games will face off in one final game on Sunday for the Elite 15 Championship title.
