CSSHL Update – BWC Midget Prep (24-4-2)

The BWC Midget Prep team continued their strong start to 2019, taking down Delta on Saturday to extend their winning streak to five straight games.

Game 1

Delta got off to a strong start with a goal just over three minutes into the game.

They added two more goals in the second to go up 3-0, but BWC came storming back.

With only 23 seconds left in the second period, a powerplay goal by Skyler Cameron made it 3-1.

BWC was outshooting Delta throughout the game but finally converted their chances to goals in the third.

Matthew Seminoff – the leading scorer of BWC’s Elite 15 team – was playing up a level for the Midget Preps this game and came up big in the third period.

Seminoff scored to make it 3-2 early in the 3rd, then scored again to tie the game with under five minutes to play.

The game would need overtime, and it was Caedan Bankier scoring for BWC to secure the big win.

Cameron (1G-2A) led the team with three points in the game while goalie Thomas Milic had 22 saves for his 13th win of the season.
