Jackson Houck of North Vancouver was drafted 94th overall last week in the third round of the NHL 2013 Entry Draft.

Houck currently plays with the WHL Vancouver Giants where he led his team in scoring this past season with 23 goals and a team-high 34 assists in 69 games. He was team MVP for the Giants this season.

Houck played for the Vancouver North West Giants during the 2010-2011 season where he scored 20 goals with 18 assists in 31 games.  The team reached the 2011 Telus Cup National Championship where he led all goal scorers with nine (9) goals and three (3) assists, helping his team to a fourth place finish.  Houck was also a part of Team BC that captured gold at the 2011 Canada Winter Games and played with Team Pacific at the 2012 U17 World Hockey Challenge.

Houck played his minor hockey at the NSWC, helping team reach the Westerns in 2010. He was selected in the third round, 57th overall of the 2010 WHL Bantam Draft.
