February 26, 2013 – Only two teams were contesting for a OMAHA league playoff title – and a subsequent ticket to the Provincials – in Bantam T1.
The Kamloops Jardine Blazers opened the best-of-three series against Kelowna with a 3-0 win on the road. The return engagement went once again to the visiting team, as Kelowna staved off elimination, winning game two by a 3-1 score. In the end, home ice advantage was of no consequence, as Kamloops returned to the Memorial Arena to take the deciding game 3-1.
The Jardine Blazers will next head to Cowichan Valley in March for the Bantam Tier 1 Provincials.
