The Subway Super Series is coming back to British Columbia in 2015. It was announced on Tuesday that Kelowna will host Game 1 and Kamloops gets Game 2 of the annual competition that pits the CHL’s finest young Canadian players against the Russian National Junior Team.

Following the two games in B.C., the series shifts to Ontario for Game 3 and 4. Game 5 is in Quebec and Game 6 in Nova Scotia.

Kamloops last hosted a Super Series game back in 2010 while Kelowna was the final stop on the six-game tour in 2009.

“The last few years the series has been very good as the Russians have been sending a very good team.” Kelowna Rockets general manager Bruce Hamilton told KelownaNow.com.

“I think we will have a couple of players in Nick Merkley and Rourke Chartier as candidates for the team and that will be a great opportunity for them and exciting for our fans as well.”

The Russian Selects won the most recent series 11 points to 7.
