Kelowna to Host 2014 Bantam Championships

January 24/13 – The Kelowna Minor Hockey Association has been chosen as the 2014 hosts of the Western Canadian Bantam Championships.

The tournament will be contested by the top bantam teams from Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and BC, in addition to the host Kelowna Jr. Rockets.

Kelowna Minor Hockey Association is honoured to be chosen as the host site for the 2014 Western Canada Bantam Championships. Our association carries with it an extreme sense of pride which will be very evident to all teams attending this prestigious event,” commented Kelowna Minor Hockey Association (KMHA) president, Leonie Popoff. “We are committed to making this event the highlight of these players hockey experience to date. We have an exceptional group of volunteers that will work tirelessly to succeed with this goal.”

The event will run from April 3-6, 2014. In the meantime, teams are getting set for the 2013 edition of the championship, which will be held in Kindersley, Saskatchewan.
