Here are the lineups for tonight’s Lethbridge Hurricane’s intersquad game.

Of note, two NSWC 2014 Western Bantam Championship teammates suited up for Team White, team captain Jordy Bellerive (1999) and Jackson Shepard (2000), acquired in a trade with Kamloops Blazers on July 31.

Bellerive has recovered from burns to his hands incurred in freak campfire incident in June – at the time he was told he’d be off hockey for a year. He says he’s almost 100% now.

Team Red also includes several BC-based players, including Alex Cotton of Langley (2000 Yale Hockey Academy), Keltie Jeri-Leon of Kelowna (2000, ex OHA White Prep, Tri-City and Kamloops Blazers), and Dylan Cozens of Whitehorse (2001, Yale Academy 2016-17).

In the game tonight, the BC players were prominent, as Red downed White 3-2 in overtime.

Bellerive assisted on White’s second goal to make it 2-0 midway through the second.

Cozens scored Red’s first goal, early in the third on assists from Noah Boyko and Alex Cotton. Cotton then tied it up at 11:21 to send the game into OT. Owen Blocker and Calen Addison got the assists.

Addison eventually scored the 3 on 3 OT winner, with 1.9 seconds left in the extra frame, with Cozens and Jacob Boucher assisting.
