PCAHA Midget A1 – Group 2

The Vancouver A1 T-Birds will be moving on to Flight 1 after a dominant performance in the Group 2 placement round.

The Birds went 7-1-0-7, outscoring opponents 32-13, and have locked up first place, with 21 points.

The Abbotsford A1 Hawks, the only team to beat the T-Birds (2-1), could move to within a single point of the leaders with a win in their final game against 6th place Richmond (3-2-1-5) on Monday, November 2.

The Hawks are 5-1-1-6, but have struggled to score, putting up just 19 in seven games. However, they’ve only allowed 14 against, one more than the T-Birds. Richmond are the stingiest but have also struggled offensively, with 14 GF vs 12 GA in seven.

New West A1-T2 (3-4-1-8), are in third place, with 15 points, but could be passed by both 4th place Aldergrove (4-3-0-1, 14 pts) and 5th place BWC (4-3-0-5, 13 pts), who each have a game in hand.

Seventh place Chilliwack A1 3-4-0-5, will likely stay in Flight 2 (Oct 31 results vs BWC A1 pending).

Eighth place North Delta A1 at 0-7-1 and ninth place Vancouver Spirt A1-T2 at 0-4-2-5 will likely be moved to Flight 3 for the regular season.
