Medicine Hat Tourney, Bantam AAA, QFs set

After two days and three games each, the top teams have emerged from the four 4 team groups playing in this year’s Medicine Hat Hounds Bantam AAA tournament.

NSWC, SSAC Edmonton, Lloydminster Heat and POE finished their round robin games with perfect 3-0 records and have advanced to the quarter finals, which start at 10:00 Saturday morning with the first place teams from each round robin group facing off against the second place teams.

NSWC will play Calgary Sabres (1-1-1), who advanced on a goal differential tie-breaker in a 10-5 win vs Surrey.

SSAC will play Vancouver T-Birds (1-2-0), who advanced on the basis of their tie-breaking 5-2 first game win over Airdrie.

Lloyd will play BWC, who lost their first game 6-4 vs SSAC and then cruised through their two games.

Kelowna based Pursuit of Excellence (PoE), will play Edge Mountaineers (2-1-0).
