
The North Van Bantam Storm rep teams are all closing in on the halfway point of the season.
The Bantam Storm A1 have now finished the 2015 portion of their schedule, while the other rep teams finish up their last 2015 games this weekend.
Bantam Storm A1 – post three straight ties – no losses
After finishing the 2015 portion of the schedule with three consecutive ties, the Storm A1 will remain undefeated going into 2016.
The team tied North Shore Winter Club (4-5-2), Vancouver (0-9-3), and Burnaby (5-3-3) last week.
After twelve games, the Storm A1 are one of two undefeated teams and are first place in Flight 2 with a 7-0-5 record.
The team has doubled their opponents in goals scored and they’ve done well to collect every possible sportsmanship point (Spt).

Bantam Storm A2 – 9th but still close to middle of pack in Flight 3
The Storm A2 didn’t play last week, but will play their final 2015 game on Sunday, Dec 20 against Sno-King (5-3-1). The last time the two teams met, the Storm A2 came out on top in a 3-2 win.
The Storm A2 had been a middle of the pack team in Flight 3, but three straight losses have resulted in a slight fall in the standings.
Although the Storm now sit 9th of ten teams in the standings, they trail 6th place Port Coquitlam (3-5-3) by just one point.

Bantam Storm A3 – finishing strong in Flight 6
It was a solid week for the Bantam Storm A3. In three games, the team picked up a tie and then two win against a couple of tough opponents.
The tie was on Dec. 13th against Semiahmoo (6-3-1). The Storm A3 beat Semiahmoo in the season opener, and this time around took a 2-2 tie.
The next game was against Vancouver (5-4-1), who previously beat the Storm A3 by a 5-1 score. The Storm A3 got their revenge on Dec. 16th with a 3-1 victory.
On Friday Dec. 18th the Storm downed Ridge Meadows 3-0, (now 2-7-2). A win and a sportsmanship point in that game would put the Storm A3 in third place in the flight.
The win moves the A3s into 5th place in Flight 6.

Bantam Storm A4 – games in hand in Flight 7
No games played this week by the Storm A4. They’ve only played eight games in the season, and are in for a busy weekend.
The team plays three games in four days; Friday, Sunday, and Monday.
It’s a good chance for the Storm A4 to pick up some points, as two of three teams they play are below them in the standings. They take on Surrey (1-7-1), Cloverdale (3-5-1) and Seafair (7-2-1) in that order.
By next week, the Storm A4 position in the standings could be drastically different. As of now, they sit 6th of nine teams in Flight 7, though they have played less games than any other team/
