The four North Vancouver bantam rep teams are now well underway, though still in pre-season competition for PCAHA Flight placement.
Here’s a look the teams records from last season and an update on early going so far in the new season.
Bantam Storm A1
Last year the Storm Bantam A1s finished in ninth place in Flight 2 with a 5-14-1 record and will be looking to improve on that this year.
So far things are looking up, as the team recorded a 5-3-2 record in exhibition play, with wins over Langley A2 (5-0), Surrey A1 (4-1), Vancouver A1 (5-4), and two vs North Delta A2s (6-3 and 9-8).
The two ties were against Van T-Birds A1 (2-2) and Vancouver A1 (1-1). The only blot on the record so far was a 9-0 thumping by the T-Birds in the third exhibition game, after tying them 2-2 in game 1.
The team lost some very tough games in a recent tournament but in placement the team is undefeated at 2-0-2.
