All three of North Van’s Midget rep teams are flying high. The A1s, A2s, and A3s are a combined 22-1-1 and are all leading their respective flights.

North Van Midget A1-T1 – Flight 1, 1st

The A1 Storm have yet to lose this season, going 7-0-1 through their first eight games which is good for first place in Flight 1.  They’ve outscored their opponents 45-17 and their only blemish is a 2-2 tie against Surrey A1. The competition below North Van is fierce. Seafair A1 (6-0-1) has 19 points, Ridge Meadows A1 (5-1-2) has 18, and NSWC A1 (4-3-1) is at 17.

The A1s play four more games before the break, taking on Seafair on Saturday, December 13 and Ridge Meadows on Thursday, December 18.

North Van Midget A2-T2 – Flight 3, 1st

North Van’s A2s are dominating Flight 3. They’re a perfect 7-0-0 and have picked up a sportsmanship point in every game, totaling 21 points. Semiahmoo A2 (5-1-2) are three points back but have played one more game than North Van and the Storm beat Semi 3-1 earlier in December. Vancouver T-Birds A2 (3-2-3), Whistler A1 (3-3-2), and Surrey A2 (3-4-2) all have 16 points.

The next week and a half will be busy for the A2s. They have five games between December 10 and 17, including matchups against the T-Birds and Whistler.

North Van Midget A3-T3 – Flight 5, 1st

Only the Surrey A3s, at 8-0-0, are off to a better start in Flight 5 than North Van’s Midget A3 team although NV has a one point lead in the standings. The Storm have breezed through the first half of the season going 8-1-0 for 22 points. Their lone loss came against the Thunder, 3-0.

They have three regular season games left in December.
