
NV Midget A1 – Pushing hard for #1
The push for #1 is on for North Van’s Midget A1s. Currently #2 in Flight 1 with a 11-3-1 record and 35 points, NV A1 is trying to close the gap on #1 Seafair A1 (11-0-4, 40 points).
The A1 Storm have two wins and a loss so far in January. They split with #10 Chilliwack, winning 5-3 and losing 4-1, and beat #9 Langley 5-2.
NV A1’s upcoming opponents are #14 Abbotsford A1 (January 16), #4 Richmond A1 (January 19), #12 Coquitlam A1 (January 23).

NV Midget A2 – Competitive so far in Flight 2
A 8-3-1 record in Flight 3 was enough to bump North Van Midget A2 up to Flight 2.
NV A2 has already played four games in January, picking up two wins, a tie, and a loss to bring their overall league play record is 10-4-2 in 2014-15. The A2 Storm beat #13 Burnaby 4-3 and #1o Coquitlam A2 3-1, tied #1 New West A1 5-5, and lost to #9 Port Coquitlam 5-3.
Coming up NV A2 is scheduled to play #11 Port Moody A1 (January 18) and #3 BWC A1 (January 21).

NV Midget A3 – Tough start in Flight 4
After dominating Flight 5, where they were an impressive 11-1-0 North Van Midget A3, along with Surrey A3, were moved up to Flight 4. The A3 Storm have lost their first two games in their new division, falling 4-1 to #1 Ridge Meadows A3 and #7 Aldergrove A2.
NV A3 has four games on the horizon to notch their first Flgiht 3 win: #8 West Van A1 (January 16), #4 Sunshine Coast A1 (January 18), #6 Cloverdale A2 (January 22), and #2 Coquitlam A3 (January 23).
