Peewee Storm A1 – finishing strong in Flight 1
A 2-5-1 start to the season wasn’t exactly what the Storm A1 had envisioned for this year. However the team were able to rebound from their slow start, winning three of their final four games heading into the winter break.
The team bested Burnaby Winter Club A2 (6-3-2) and Burnaby (5-6-1), both of whom had previously beaten the Storm A1. The other win was an 8-3 blowout over a solid Port Moody team (6-5-1).
Oddly enough, the team’s only loss over those four games came against the lowest ranked team they faced, Langley (4-7-1).
The Storm A1 now have a positive goal differential for the first time this season, and have collected their sportsmanship point (Spt) in seven straight games.
So things are looking up for the Storm A1. Now just hope it carries over into January.

With an overall record of 8-2-2, the Storm A3 sit second of eight teams in Flight 7.

Having the confidence of beating the top team should only fuel the Storm A3 further.
If they pick things up where they left off, the Storm A3 could shortly take possession of first in the flight.
