The North West Giants, a perennial front runner in BC’s top minor hockey league – the BC Major Midget League, have now made their second round of selections

The Giants are looking to recapture their number 1 ranking this year, after falling to the Okanagan Rockets in the BC final last April.

The Giants camp opened August 8 with 84 players on five teams: 12 goalies, 30 defenceman and 42 forwards vying for roster spots.

After four games, the roster was reduced to 50 players and divided into two teams, consisting of five goalies, 15 defencemen, and 30 forwards.

The coaching staff have now made their second round of selections and are down to 42 players; consisting of four goalies, 13 defencemen, and 25 forwards.
