NSWC Peewee A1 2-2-1 against top USA teams in Chicago

NSWC Peewee A1 came out of Chicago with a 2-2-1 record against top competition from USA hockey hot beds.

The team tied Cleveland Barons 2-2 in their first game of the Durham Hockey Institute tourney, then dropped their second contest against #1 ranked Chicago Mission, 3-0 later the same day.

The next day the Hawks shut out Team Illinois 3-0 and downed Anaheim Jr. Ducks 2-1.

The team closed their series against #3 ranked Minutemen Flames (Boston area), losing 3-2.

Chicago Mission tied Minutemen Flames 5-5 in their first game of the tourney, and then beat them 5-3 in their fourth game; to post the best record in the round robin tourney, at 4-0-1.

NSWC was the only Canadian team in the DHI tourney, run by former NHLers Keith and Wayne Primeau.
