The NW Giants of the BC Major Midget league have made their initial evaluation camp selections. Fifty players will advance to the next stage of evaluations, to take place next weekend.
Head Coach Clint Thornton and his assistant coaches have picked 6 goalies, 15 defencemen and 29 forwards to move on:
This number will be reduced to approximately 20 at the next camp.
The 50 include 10 returning players, 18 from NSWC, 6 from North Vancouver MHA, 3 each from Hollyburn, Burnaby Minor, and BWC, 3 from Hockey Academies, and one each from Sunshine Coast, New Westminster and Vancouver.
