Here’s an overview of how the rep teams are doing so far in the twelve Okanagan Mainland league divisions, midget down to peewee.
Midget Tier 1
In Tier 1 Midget, there are only three teams competing and to no one’s surprise it’s the Prince George Cougars who are at the top of the league. The Cougars have just won their fourth tournament of the year and have proven to be too tough to handle so far this year, for any team in BC. That said, they’ve been beaten twice so far in league play.

Midget Tier 2
In Tier 2 Midget. it’s a battle between Penticton and Greater Vernon, with Penticton posting a perfect 9-0 record so far, vs Greater Vernon’s 7-1-1. Penticton is also posting the best GF/GA record, at 53 GF – 13 GF, almost 6 goals again vs less than 1.5 against.
West Kelowna and Salmon arm are in a tight race for third and fourth.

Midget Tier 3
Tight race here with the top two teams in the running for first place. South Okanagan is on top with 21 points, 10W-1L-1T; Kelowna has three hands in hand, and a record of 8-1-0.
So lots can still happen at the top. Winfield is third place at the moment with a 7-4-1 record.

Midget Female A
Kamloops have raced out to a comfortable lead and so far are unbeaten in nine games.
Williams Lake, with three games in hand and just one loss, could make a big move up if they can win three in a row.

It’s anyone’s game here with three teams real closes in the standings and in GF vs GA.
If PG can capitalize on it’s power play advantages, they could make a move.

With seven teams battling, Greater Vernon are proving to be the team to beat in Tier 2, with just one loss so far in eleven games.
Kelowna, West Kelowna and PoE are in a tight race at the two through four positions, with Salmon Arm biting at their heels fifth spot.

South Okanagan are running away with Tier 3 title so far, with an undefeated 11-0-0 record, and almost double the points of the second and third place teams, Kamloops and Winfield. West Kelowna is still in the race for the third spot.

It’s all North Okanagan so far, with a perfect 8-0-0 record, with a game in hand and three more wins than second place Revelstoke.

Kelowna lead the way in the Bantam Female A division with just a single loss and a tie in fourteen games. Castlegar follows 11 points behind in second, but comfortably ahead of PG and Kamloops at the moment.

Peewee Tier 1
Just three teams in the Tier 1 division, and so far it’s a battle between Kamloops 4-1-0 and PG 5-3-0, with Kelowna in tough at 2-7-0. Surprising amount of penalties for the Kamloops team, averaging 38 minutes a game, which will likely be a problem for them against Lower Mainland teams in Provincials.

Peewee Tier 3
In Tier 3, Merritt has set the pace with a blistering 11-0-1 record. Penticton aren’t far behind, with four games in hand and only a single loss in seven games. South Okanagan are strong too, with a 9-3-1 record to start.
Four teams are battling it out for the number four spot. Kelowna, Kamloops, North Okanagan and Greater Vernon are all closely packed in the four through eight spots.
