
NORTH SYDNEY, N.S. –
In a game that showcased the leading junior prospects in Western Canada, Team Pacific (BC and Alberta) handily defeated Team West (Alberta and Saskatchewan), 6-2 on Monday.
Matteo Gennaro scored twice and added an assist, and Giorgio Estephan and Tyler Soy had a goal and a helper each to pace the offence as Pacific scored four times in the first period to earn its first win in an all-Canadian match-up.
The team lost its opener 4-3 to Quebec.
