The third edition of the Pacific Spring Showcase, an invitational spring hockey tournament, is underway at Planet Ice facilities in Delta and Coquitlam this weekend.
Many of the top novice through to first year bantam players from across British Columbia, Alberta and several US states are in competition for bragging rights on who are the top teams in spring this year.
The tournament is organized by Inside Edge Hockey, best known for their hockey development programs run out of the Burnaby Winter Club.
The group has grown the tournament from 16 teams in 2012 to 68 teams this year, with eight boys divisions (2007 t0 2000 birth years) plus a 2001/02 girls division.
