The Langley A4s finished the Final 4 with a convincing 7-1 win over Langley A5s cap a perfect 3-0 record and claim the Tier 4 Bantam League banner. The team will travel to Windermere for the Tier 4 Provincials.
The A4s faced their toughest competition against the NSWC A4s in game one, a 5-3 decision, and then downed Ridge Meadows 8-0 in game two.
Short-benched NSWC A4s, who have played all season with 8-10 players, lost a second close game to the Langley A5s, 4-3 on Sunday and were out of contention after a solid year.
Ridge Meadows lost a tough one goal game to the the A5s, 3-2 and then were blown out 8-0 by Langley A4, and were also out after two games.
Both Ridge and NSWC had played in Flight 7, the Langley A5s in Flight 6 and the A4s in Flight 5 during the regular salon.
Just one team advances from this series to the Tier 4 provincials.
