Here’s an overview of how things are shaping up around the midway point of the regular season for the five PCAHA midget leagues.

NVMHA Storm

Flight 1 – North Vancouver Continue to Lead

North Vancouver Storm hold a three point lead on Coquitlam, thanks mainly to a two point advantage in sportsmanship points. However, the Storm have a game in hand over the Chiefs, and could stretch to five or six in their next outing. The Storm got back on the win track December 7, after a three game stretch of two ties (Cloverdale and Seafair) and a loss (2-1) vs Hollyburn. They’d started with five straight wins.

After the top two teams, five teams are tightly packed in group within three points of the Chiefs.

Richmond have better winning percentage than the Storm, at 6-0-1, but only three sporties, so sit in fifth place instead of second, with a game in hand.

Hollyburn, Abby, NSWC and Ridge Meadows have half the wins of the top two, in the 7-10 spots. But North Shore Winter Club Midget Elite and Ridge Meadows have a game in hand.
