The Victoria Royals have jumped out to an early lead in the Western Conference of the WHL, with an impressive 7-1-0 record.
The Royals downed reigning WHL champion Kelowna Rockets 3-0 on Friday to stretch their winning start to a franchise record.
The Rockets are currently in second place in the Conference with a 5-3-0 record.
The Everett Silvertips have also started strong, with a 4-1-0 record.
At the other end of the scale, Kamloops Blazers are 0-6-0.
