Former Yale Academy teammates Darren Rizzolo (l) and Tak Anholt have been involved in a trade, the Vernon Vipers announced today.

Both 1998 born players suited up for the Yale Academy Prep team last year, with forward Anholt posting 28-36-54 in 24 games, second in total points for the team and third overall in the league, and defenceman Rizzolo, from Mission, posting 8-14-22 for fifth overall in team scoring.

Fellow Yale d-men Alec Capstick and and Tyler Wickman also packed a punch for Yale, just one and two points, respectively, behind Rozzolo.

Anholt, from North Vancouver, and 1997 forward Linden Hora of Kelowna, were traded to the Chilliwack Chiefs for Rizzolo. Anholt had started the preseason as Penticton Vees pick before moving to Vernon. Hora produced 1-3-4 in his rookie season with the Vipers.

Yale led the Prep division last year with an incredible 26-1-1 record, and placed seven players in the top 10 for league points totals.

Rizollo had committed to the Chiefs a year ago, as well as to Northeastern University.

In another move, the Vipers released 18 year old forward Blaine Caton, who was 4-4-8 in 48 games last year.
