The Prince Albert Raiders bounced back with a 2-1 win Wednesday to even up the Eastern Conference Championship at two games apiece.

2019 NHL Draft prospect Brett Leason and Noah Gregor (San Jose Sharks) scored for the Raiders while Wyatt McLeod broke up the Raiders’ shutout bid late in regulation.

The Leason goal came at 13:01 of the second, with Gregor’s 2:13 into the third.

Gregor lead the Raiders with five shots on goal, while Oil Kings captain Trey Fix-Wolansky led Edmonton with four.

Ian Scott (Toronto Maple Leafs) stopped 25 of 26 shots for the win. Dylan Myskiw stopped 25 for the Oil Kings.

Gregor was named first star, Scott second and Myskiw third.

Attendance was 7,077 at Rogers Place in Edmonton.

Game five goes at the Art Hauser Centre in Prince Albert, Friday, April 26 at 7:00 PM  MDT.

Game six is back at Rogers Place Sunday, at 2:00 PM MDT.

Game seven if necessary, will go Tuesday, April 30, at 7:00 at in Prince Albert.
